Over the last few weeks we’ve started the actual build phase of our latest nuclear shelter which is scheduled to be installed later this year.

After many months in the design and planning stages, these photos give a brief insight into the build stage and how the project is shaping up as our expert teams construct numerous aspects of the shelter in our warehouse.

Comments Paul Weldon, managing director of The Panic Room Company: “There are several bespoke elements included in this particular shelter which will soon be located in the client’s basement at their home in London.

“There are also numerous fundamentals that we specify for every nuclear shelter such as a blast hatch, specialist sealing components and NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) filtration, all of which can be found within this particular build.”

Concludes Paul: “Once complete, the shelter will be transported to site where it will be installed over a period of several weeks.”
