We are delighted to announce that security professionals, Paul Watkins and Ian Weatherhead, have joined The Panic Room Company team on a consultancy basis.

 

With a focus on business development, Paul has a wealth of experience in retail, commercial, government and hospitality industry security and is a director of KTP, a company that consults, designs, manufactures and supplies a wide range of innovative and highly effective access & fire safety systems.

 

Explains Paul: “Over the coming months I’ll be looking at a variety of different sectors that could benefit from the products and services that The Panic Room Company can offer. From panic room rental to secure walling and full purchase of safe rooms, there really is a bespoke option for every client and every requirement.”

 

Ian is a highly experienced advisor in the defence & security fields having started his career with the Metropolitan Police before joining Thomas Cook Bankers with various postings overseas. On his return to the UK, Ian spent the next 35 years with the London Chamber of Commerce’s International Division having specific responsibilities for the USA & Caribbean and the Defence & Security & Counter Terrorist sector, assisting UK businesses with their exports.

 

In June 2002, Ian was appointed to the British Government’s Cabinet Committee for Security, ‘The London Resilience Group’, and involved in the formation of the UK’s ‘Strategic Emergency Plan’. He is security cleared with the Ministry of Defence and Department of Defence where he is registered under FARA (Foreign Agents Registration Act) as a defence & security lobbyist.
