Increase in secure walls in private residences

Over the last six months, we’ve noted a marked increase in the number of enquiries about the inclusion of secure walls inside properties from owners of private residences.

We’ve recently completed a secure wall installation in a property in south London that saw The Panic Room Company team complete the design, manufacture and install of a steel construction secure wall, approximately 10m in length, between two existing rooms.

The project took just two days to complete and the secure wall was clad, plastered and decorated to look exactly like every other wall in the house. The wall is completely indistinguishable to any potential intruders and the ultimate in peace of mind for the homeowner.

States Paul Weldon, managing director for The Panic Room Company: “Over the years we have incorporated secure walls in a variety of properties both here in the UK and abroad.

“Once installed, no-one but the homeowner knows where they are located meaning they offer a highly effective method of isolating an area or areas within a home for the protection and safety of individuals during a burglary or kidnap attempt. They can also act as a secure storage for any valuables or assets when the property is unoccupied.”

Concludes Paul: “Each secure wall we create is a bespoke solution, tailored to an individual client’s requirements but with one sole aim: the maximum in home protection and safety for loved ones.”
